Oh well I suppose I’m already late with this, but I really, really love the Looklet website!
You know how girls like Barbies because you get to dress them up? That’s pretty much what Looklet is for. They have several models to choose from, and then thousands of clothes and accessories that you can mix and match to create the look you want.
I know it sounds a little childish when I describe it, but trust me, it’s fun. Plus you can have a look book. I’m thinking the next time I have to plan an outfit, I can use Looklet to build it and see if it looks great or not.
I just wish the website had a few more “Asian” fashion options, as right now the look is very Western and I’m not always into that kind of clothing. It’s still fun, though! Kind of like Japan’s Poupee Girl, except now it’s real people and real products. Yep, you’ve got the brands and everything. That’s probably dangerous to your wallet’s health when you decide that the look you built simply has to come to life (as in you buy the stuff and wear them for real haha), but it’s all good fun and registration is free.
Check out the looks I created after the jump.
Okay, so my first two looks are boring, since I decided to share my fashion statement with the world. Or maybe it isn’t so much a “statement” as a “yawn”. I’m a drab dresser.
Here’s my first look. This is — without fail — the way I look every single day when I go to the office. I’m in IT, so we always wear casual. It’s comfy and fun and my roomy bag carries everything I need (including my beloved cardigan).
Here’s my second look. This is what I look like most of the time on weekends. I rarely go out with my friends. We’re all terribly busy with work and school and even when we do meet up it’s often just food and chitchat. No nightlife for this girl.
Again, see the cardigan. I’m in love with cardigans and hoodies. Plus, see the shirt thing? I’m always in t-shirts, especially those with geeky or funny messages printed. I have one that says “communists have no class” from Snorg Tees and I love it.
Of course you can do other stuff, too, like create fantasy and fancy looks. I’m gonna do that in a bit and share the pictures with you guys.
Try it out and share your looks!

I’ve been meaning to try this but have never had the chance to! I wanna try it soon, it looks so fun.:)

Hey do try it out. It’s fun haha.
I’m just quite hooked on it! If not only for Ondoy, I would never stop toying with my looklet paperdolls. :P
